The Mystery of the Trinity in the Theological Thought of Pope John Paul II. Introduction by His Eminence Bernard Cardinal Law.
Endorsement by Scott Hahn.

Since his election to the papacy in 1978. Pope John Paul II's incomparable theological thinking has exercised a vast influence upon the Catholic Church. His documents command worldwide attention because he presents the Tradition of the Church in an accessible way to contemporary readers. The Mystery of the Trinity in the Theological Thought of Pope John Paul II investigates all the papal documents, including his Encyclicals on the Father (Dives in Misericordia), on the Son (redemptor Hominis), and on the Holy Spirit (Dominum et Vivificantem). In detail, this work systematically presents John Paul II's philosophy of the human person in relationship with the Divine Persons, his theology of creation and redemption, his Christology, and his theology of the Holy Spirit.

 PREFACE
Nothing is more important than living ever more profoundly our baptism into the mystery of Christ's life,

death, and resurrection with His awe-inspiring friendship with the Father in the Holy Spirit. It is the

greatest grace and joy of our Catholic and Christian faith that we are called into this Trinitarian love and

friendship. Antoine E. Nachef's study of the mystery of the Trinity in the work of Pope John Paul II

introduces us to the theological reflections of our Holy Father on this central mystery of our faith. It is a

most helpful guide in appreciating how the mystery of the most Holy Trinity is at the very heart of the life

and work of Pope John Paul II. One cannot appreciate fully the tireless apostolic ministry and many

pastoral initiatives of this great Pope unless one sees how they flow from his own deep faith and life of

prayerful communion with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
 - His Eminence Bernard Cardinal Law
  Archbishop of Boston

"Rather than focusing narrowly on the Trinity, this study sets John Paul II's Trinitarian theology in the    generously feature context of his philoshophical anthropology, theology of creation and redemption, and  Christology and Pneumatology. Nachef's work does justice to both the philosopher and theologian in John  Paul II."
 - Father Johann G. Roten, S.M.
  Director, International Marian Research Institute

"I heartily recommend Nachef's work for its exceptionally clear and penetrating analysis of Pope John   Paul II's Trinitarian thoughts

The Faith of Mary - Vatican II Insights on the Humanity of Mary

At the Annunciation, the Angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she was to give birth to a son whom she was to name Jesus for he would save his people from their sins. "He will be great," the angel told her, "and will be called Son of the Most High." Then he went on to promise that God would give him the throne of his father David, that he would reign over th house of Jacob forever, and that his Kingdom would have no end. The problem for Mary, through out her life and especially as she stood at the foot of the cross. , was that most of these things did not seem to be coming true. And still she remained steadfast in her faith. All generations since have called her blessed because, as Elizabeth said to her, she believed that the Lord's words to her would come true. From Pentecost on, Mary's faith has become the model for all those who, coming after her, would believe. If faith is the confident assurance regarding things hoped for, and a firm conviction regarding things not seen, then Mary's faith was certainly genuine in every sense of the word. Like us she struggled to understand, pondering the events of her son's life and meditating on them in her heart as the Holy Spirit continued to enlighten her with respect to her own role in the mission of her son. In this book, Anthony Nachef relates Mary's life and faith to our own and shows us how we can grow in wisdom and grace by imitating her example.

Women in the Eyes of Jesus. Yesterday, Today & Forever

Women were heavily involved in Jesus' ministry. He healed them and welcomed their faith. He opened conversations with them and changed their lives. In fact, the longest conversation Jesus ever had in the Gospel was with a woman. Women are the first to see him rise from the dead. Mary Magdalene became an apostle to the Apostles. This very readable work presents a balanced analysis of the social, cultural, spiritual, and theological dimensions of Jesus' encounter with women.
