Trip Itinerary

Day 1 Departure from USA.

Day 2 Arrival. Check-in to the hotel. Rest for a little while. Take a bus tour of the city: see

the most famous sites, including the Eiffel Tower, the Opera, the Palace of the Invalides.

Tour the Cathedral of Notre Dame and eat lunch in the Latin Quarter. After lunch, pray the

rosary at the church dedicated to St. Genevieve, St. Etienne-du- Mont. Then visit the

Pantheon, where France's most prestigious writers and philosophers are buried. Dinner and

overnight in Paris

Day 3 Late start. Visit the Basilica of Sacre Coeur and see the artists and antique shops of

Montmartre. Eat lunch in the Montmartre area, then visit the church dedicated to St.

Vincent de Paul. In the late afternoon, take in the most stunning view of Paris from the

Eiffel Tower, then return to the hotel to rest before dinner. Overnight in Paris

Day 4 Tour the Louvre, the world’s most famous art museum, to see the Mona Lisa and the

winged victory, Nike. After lunch, visit the chapel of the Miraculous Medallion and the

burial site of St. Catherine Laboure. After dinner, take a romantic river ride on a Bateau

Mouche and see all the beautiful sights of Paris lit up from the Seine River. Stop for an ice

cream at Berthillon on your way back to the hotel. Overnight in Paris

Day 5 Bus to Lisieux. Have lunch, then spend the day visiting St. Theresa’s home (Les

Buissonets), the Cathedral and the Basilica. Mass with Father Jose, then dinner and return

for overnight in Paris

Day 6 Late start. Bus to Pau, stop for lunch and sightseeing. Continue on to Lourdes.

Participate in the Candlelight procession. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes

Day 7 Lourdes for the whole day. Mass with Father Jose. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes

Day 8 Leave early to Barcelona, Spain. Spend the afternoon in Barcelona and have a

farewell dinner in Barcelona. Overnight in Barcelona

**Travel to France - Spain General Information**

Airport and Passport

	Get a Passport as soon as possible
	It is highly recommended that you register your trip with the US State Department online at Travel Registration

Flight Information

	We fly you from any city in the USA round trip to your destination for the same price
	You can deduct $800 from the price of the trip if you purchase your own flight. Feel free to use your mileage and join the group at your destination
	Passengers need to be at the airport counter at least 3 hours before departure
	You will be fed on the plane. Plenty of food
	You can earn miles even though we are traveling as a group. Just call the airline we are using and tell them that you need to be credited for your miles

Staying In Touch

	Each traveler will receive 2 cards with emergency contacts (one for you & one for your family at home)
	The trip is designed so that you and your family in the U.S. are always able to contact the tour guide during the trip
	A tour guide is with the group for the entire trip (from USA departure to USA return)

Money

	Get some Euros before leaving the US (300-400 Euros)
	You can use your credit/debit cards, but tell your bank/card company ahead of time that you will be using them in Europe. Credit and debit card have the best exchange rate
	AAA prepaid debit cards are also useful
	Avoid bringing Traveler's Checks with you
	Make sure that your pin does not start with number "0" and does not have more than 4 digits. Some ATM machines in Europe do not accept pins starting with "0" and pins that have more than 4 digits
	Money belts are highly recommended

Transportation in Europe

	Proximo Travel has its own Private Luxury Bus at all times in France
	Bus is air-conditioned and has large windows to enjoy the scenery

Dress Code

	Dress is casual and comfortable. It is a vacation, relax and enjoy
	Bring comfortable walking shoes.

Packing and Carry-on

	Pack light! People normally don't use more than 60% of what they pack
	Pack your medicine, valuables, and one day's change of clothes in a carry-on just in case your luggage does not arrive on time
	Liquids should be in your checked luggage, not in your carry-on. If you choose to have your liquids in your carry-on, it should be less than 3 ounces and should be placed in a one quart-size plastic zip bag (one bag per person)

Safety is our priority. As we tour each country, every passenger is always accounted for: there is always a count of passengers before and after touring each site. We never leave anyone behind!

Lots of Walking?

Even though we have our own private bus, some sites do require some walking. Bring comfortable shoes (dress shoes are not necessary at all). Let me know ahead of time if you need a wheelchair

Traveling Alone

If you are traveling alone, we will room you with another nice passenger so that you don't have to pay the extra single room supplement. If you want your own private room, it is $700 extra for the France Trip

Number of Passengers

Proximo Travel hosts an average of 25 people on each tour. These trips are advertised in many venues. They almost always sell out early, so please keep this in mind when you are planning to book a trip. Many people book up to a year in advance

Insurance and Cancellation Policy

Additional $200 per person for full balance coverage up to last minute before travel. The Deposit is always non-refundable

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

	You must have a valid reason for cancellation (illness, surgery, God forbid family death, etc.)
	You must provide proof of your situation to be eligible for a refund prior to departure. In case of illness, a doctor's note is necessary
	Without Insurance:

1. Balance (less deposit) is refunded if cancelled 90+ days prior to departure

2. Only plane ticket is refunded if cancelled within 90 days of departure

With Insurance:

1. Full balance (less deposit) is refunded at any time of cancellation
